About

Vintage Motorcar Co LLC was founded and incorporated by Paul Rose and John Bassler in 2001.

The early days of VMC were small but successful and in 2003, Paul and John opened a facility in Harpers Ferry, WV.  The next two years brought about an expanding workload necessitating the addition of six employees and the purchase of land in Inwood, WV.  In November 2006, Vintage Motorcar Company settled into its new 9000+ square foot facility with eight employees.

Over the next eleven years and many projects and successes, Paul, John and the growing staff of restoration professionals continued to grow.  In 2017 Paul decided he wanted to retire from the day to day, move from the area, pursue other interests and enjoy time with his family and his own antique automobile collection.

On January 1, 2018, John became sole proprietor of VMC.  Presently VMC has twelve employees and continues to operate at the same level of meticulous professional service it has since its inception.
