Jim is a Mechanical & Restoration Technician, born in Brisbane, Australia.  (Jim has also lived in Japan, Ireland and the United States.)  Known around the shop as the "Saucy Aussie", Jim is a student at Penn College of Technology.  He earned a degree in automotive restoration and is currently working on his degree in metal fabrication.  Jim has spent the last three summers working for VMC and plans to return full time once he has finished his degree.  His interest in cars began as a young child in Australia, helping his dad work on his 1924 Chevrolet 4 and playing the video game Need for Speed.  Jim loves that he has found a way to make money doing what he loves--working on old cars.  His favorite cars are the 1987 Mazda Rx7 Turbo II, the 2006 BMW M3 and the 1985 DMC DeLorean.  When not at VMC Jim can be found working in the garage, and playing music or video games.
