Restoration
The restoration process begins with meticulous research, documentation, and inspection to determine the scope of work required.

The vehicle is disassembled and we work to repair, fabricate or replace, machine worn parts, rebuild components, refinish and, finally, reassemble.  Our goal is to make the vehicle look and operate like new again.

It takes time, patience and wherewithal.  You can review the VMC Restoration process HERE.

In the world of antique automobiles, a car that has been restored looks as it did the day it left the factory.  A complete restoration includes repair of the parts that can be seen--such as paint, trim, chrome, etc--as well as the parts that aren't visible.  A "ground up" or "frame off" restoration is often necessary when there are major body structural issues, frame rot, major wear of all mechanical components, cosmetic issues with the entire vehicle, or the owner of the vehicle desires a vehicle that looks and operates as if brand new.

Regardless of what service you require, you can return your vehicle to it's original glory and preserve a piece of history through restoration.  The artisans at Vintage Motorcar Company will research and execute a detailed restoration, of  an vehicle from the early 1900's to approximately 1975*, which you can be proud and enjoy for years to come.

*Exceptions can be made for special interest vehicles.  Please call us for details.
